All of the teams gather in the center of the auditorium to listen to the game procedures.  The robot picks up one of the many racquet balls spread throughout the arena. The robot had to gather different game pieces to create different compounds.  Tim Sparks gets the robot set before a round.  Cody Boone gets ready to pick up the racquet balls being pushed toward the spotter square.  Josh Harper, spotted by Kyle Holland, maneuvers the robot to pick up one of the beach ball game pieces.  Robotic brawl!! The four reaming teams duke it out during the last rounds.  Shaun Gann, spotted by Tim Sparks, expertly backs one of the four benzene takers into the team’s garage.  Ready to act Brandon McFarlin gets set to grab any pieces the robot pushes to him.  Josh Harper and Kyle Holland accept the Georgia BEST robotics competition first place trophy. The team also won the Best Rookie Team award.  |
